UNM Employee Rec Card
Recreational Services at the University of New Mexico offers Temporary Faculty & Staff of UNM access to Johnson Center. The center contains a weight/cardio room, Olympic pool, Therapy pool, and several basketball courts.
Eligibility
Part-Time Faculty or Staff Adjunct Faculty (non-contract) AIMS Staff Lobo Energy Employees NACA Faculty Temporary or On-Call Faculty/Staff UNM Continuing Ed Employee/Instructor Student Union Building Vendor Employees (Food services) Contract Employees
Temporary/On-Call Employees who have an active Rec Card are eligible for a locker. Rec Card is only valid for use of facilities. Access to fitness classes or other programs are fee based. Some programs and classes are only available to current UNM student, faculty and staff.
Price
$40.00 per semester.
New Applicant Procedure
- You must be a current employee of the University of New Mexico.
- Bring verification a letter from sponsoring department on a UNM letterhead verifying employment and a photo ID to Recreational Services, Johnson Center Room 1102
- You will fill out a new rec card application.
- After signing up, in 4 business days come back to the office to pick up a slip to have your ID made at the LoboCard Office.
New Sponsored Applicant Procedure
- UNM employee must have clearance in order to sponsor their spouse, domestic partner or dependent.
- Both parties must be present when applying for the Rec Card. Bring your proof of marriage or affidavit and photo ID to Recreational Services, Johnson Center Room 1102.
- Dependent must be between the ages of 18 to 25 years. For verification a drivers license with same residency as sponsor is required.
- Fill out a new rec card application waiver.
- After signing up, in 4 business days come back to the office to pick up a slip to have your ID made at the LoboCard Office.
Rec Card Renewal
To renew your Rec Card you can pay online or at our office inside Johnson Center, Room 1102. You will need to fill out a renewal application in order to update your Rec Card.
