  • Pre-Conference Golf Outing
    • October 15th, 2008 – Golf Outing at Sandia Golf Course
    Before the NIRSA conference begins, come relax and enjoy the scenic Sandia Golf Course while playing a friendly game against the other conference participants!

  • Tram Getaway
    • October 15th, 2008 – Tram Getaway at Sandia Aerial Tramway
    Our Recreational Services Getaway Adventure Program will take you to new heights on this adventure! Join us for a scenic ride on the world’s longest aerial tram and take in the view at 10, 378 feet when you arrive on top of Sandia Peak! We will have a short hike to the Kiwanis Rock house and go back down on the tram. We will then take you to the beautiful North Valley to eat at the world famous El Patio Restaurant that is best known for their salsa!
    Your registration fee covers all transportation to and from the tram, tram ride tickets, hiking guides, and lunch.

  • Unser Museum Social Event
    • October 16th, 2008 – Social Event at Unser Racing Museum
    The museum features several Indy Cars on display and has an Indy Car mock-up for visitors to slip into and see what it feels like behind the wheel. There is also a computer game where you can pick a virtual race course to drive. Afterwards, dinner will be catered by Cervantes Restaurant, a popular local stop. Yummy!
